TieSet, Inc. ("TieSet," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at tieset.com, use our STADLE platform, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services").

We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you: register for an account; request a product demonstration or architecture review; communicate with us via email or contact forms; subscribe to our newsletter or marketing communications; or enter into a contract with us.
Categories of personal information we may collect include: name and contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address); professional information (job title, company name, industry); account credentials; payment and billing information; and communications you send us.
We also collect information automatically when you use our Services, including: log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps); device information (hardware model, operating system, unique device identifiers); usage data (features accessed, actions taken, session duration); and cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 8.
If you are a business customer, we process Customer Data (as defined in our Terms of Service) on your behalf as a data processor. This Policy does not govern our processing of Customer Data, which is governed by our Data Processing Agreement.

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Services; process transactions and send related information; send technical notices, security alerts, and administrative messages; respond to your comments and questions; send marketing communications (where permitted by law); analyze usage patterns and trends; detect and prevent fraudulent or harmful activity; comply with legal obligations; and carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.
We process your personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; our legitimate business interests (including improving our Services, preventing fraud, and conducting marketing activities); and, where required, your consent.

TieSet is headquartered in the United States and has operations in Japan. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, including the United States and Japan.
Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to countries that do not provide an equivalent level of data protection, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
TieSet Japan, Inc. is responsible for personal information we receive from Japan in accordance with applicable Japanese data protection law (Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or APPI).

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
